“My American Story”

A Free Civic and Community Engagement Resource Fair

In partnership with the Japanese American National Museum’s Daniel K. Inouye National Center for the Preservation of Democracy and the Center for Asian Americans United for Self Empowerment (CAUSE), we present to you, “My American Story”: A Civic and Community Engagement Resource Fair.

Join us for a free, day of events that includes music, food trucks, voting information and other County Departments, community organizations, and family activities—including a live storytelling performance presented by the participating storytellers of the Democracy Center’s new annual storytelling program, “My American Story.” (see below).

1:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Free Resource Fair (Available to the Public)

3:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Live storytelling

We are reaching out to various County departments and community organizations to join us in engaging with the Little Tokyo and surrounding communities by setting up a resource table.
