Qualifications
To become an Election Worker in Los Angeles County, you must be:
18 years of age or older (unless participating in the Student Election Worker Program)
A U.S. citizen and registered to vote in California OR a Legal Permanent Resident

Election Assistant II
Selection Requirements: Six(6) months of full-time experience in clerical, technical, election or training.
The assignment starts immediately.
The work location is in Norwalk and Downey.
Note: To become an Election Worker in Los Angeles County, you must be:
18 years of age or older (unless participating in the Student Election Worker Program)

Student Election Workers
The Los Angeles County Student Election Worker Program provides high school students with an exciting opportunity to serve as Election Workers in Los Angeles County elections.
Participating students receive a stipend for their service along with a great hands-on introduction to the democratic process. Earn up to $380!
Requirements
Interested students must meet the following requirements to participate as a student election worker:
Must be at least 16 years of age by the time of the election
Must be attending a public or private secondary education institution (High School)
U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) of the United States
Good academic standing: G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater
Must have teacher and parental consent
Must be fully vaccinated from Covid-19 and provide proof of vaccination
Apply to be a Student Election Worker
First, the Consent Form must be completed with signatures from the eligible student, the student's parent or guardian, and the student's teacher or counselor. You can download a copy of the Consent Form and attach the completed consent form to your online application.

County Election Workers
The Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is offering an exciting opportunity for county employees to participate in the New County Employee Election Worker Program for the upcoming November 8, 2022 Election! We are seeking county volunteers to serve as election workers at Vote Centers throughout Los Angeles County.
This is a great opportunity to make an impactful difference in your community while earning your salary plus overtime/comp time and a $100 bonus stipend. Vote Center locations are limited so register now!
